ARISE iTAG Workshop: South Africa
October 2 – October 6, 2023

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS:

International flights are booked independently by travelers. The program begins in Cape Town on October 2 and ends in Cape Town on October 6. Please book your flights based on the following schedule.

• Arrival – Monday, October 2, 2023: Arrive at Cape Town International Airport (CPT), Cape Town, South Africa
  Recommended time no later than 4 PM. Hotel check-in is at 2 PM.
• Departure – Friday, October 6, 2023: Depart from Cape Town International Airport (CPT) anytime. Hotel check-out is at 11 AM.

While the program begins on October 2, please let us know if you would like to arrive earlier and we would be happy to assist with pre-trip arrangements. We are also able to arrange post-trip day rooms before your departure flight.

MEDICAL INSURANCE:

Elevate Destinations requires that all travelers purchase medical insurance that covers them for $50,000 of medical expenses while in South Africa, including Covid related-expenses. If you have medical insurance that will cover you in South Africa, please email Fiona at fiona@elevatedestinations.com with a copy of your insurance policy, including your insurance provider’s emergency phone number.

While not required, Elevate Destinations strongly recommend that travelers purchase insurance with Cancel for Any Reason level coverage. Please note that all Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) insurance policies are time-sensitive and require purchase within 1 to 21 days of making a payment for your trip. CFAR provides more robust coverage for any unexpected trip cancellations or delays.

PASSPORT:

Please make sure your passport is current and valid for at least 6 months beyond your trip departure date. If your passport expires before then, you will need to renew your passport. Your passport should have at least two blank pages for the entry and exit stamps, or more if you are visiting several countries on this trip. The last two amendment pages are unacceptable for visas and immigration stamps.
