PACKING LIST:
Check back for a packing list for the trip!
We encourage you to pack lightly for the trekking portion of the trip. You can leave anything that you don’t need in Santa Marta with our ground team. On the trek, there will be several mules and their caretakers accompanying us to transport food and gear. Each well-cared-for mule is able to carry up to 6 kg (13 lbs) of weight, and you will have to carry the remainder on your back in a small backpack. Most trekkers will bring one pair of clothes to wear during the day and one to change into at night. See the packing list for our full recommendations.
