COVID PROTOCOLS & REGULATIONS
There are no restrictions or requirements for Covid-19 in Honduras.
- Masks optional throughout the whole trip
- If someone feels sick, they can use a rapid test during the trip and based on the result and symptoms, we will address it on a case by case situation.
- If someone tests positive, we ask that the traveler end their participation in the trip to keep travelers safe. We will work with travelers on an individual basis to navigate this.
- If there are expenses associated with testing positive those are the responsibility of the traveler to cover.
HONDURAS ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
For entry into Honduras, the following is required:
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Fully vaccinated travelers must provide proof that they have completed a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 at least 14 days before boarding. Proof must be presented in the form of the original vaccination card (2 doses of most vaccines; 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson).
- Pre-Check Form: Five (5) days before the flight, travelers must fill out a pre-check form before traveling to Honduras. This is a legitimate link and is hosted on the Honduran National Institute of Migration website. Travelers must register with an email account and complete the form. After completing the form, travelers will receive a confirmation in their inbox, which must be present before boarding.
- Customs Declaration: Travelers must fill out an online customs declaration form 24 hours before flight. On the form, select arrival airport: “SAP-La Mesa”. Keep the QR digital code saved to your phone.
COVID VACCINATION:
To participate on this trip, you must be fully vaccinated against Covid and up to date with any additional doses of the vaccine you may be eligible for. In many cases, this means you must be boosted before travel. Travelers are not eligible for a refund for failure to get vaccinated or boosted prior to departure.
