COVID PROTOCOLS & REGULATIONS

Elevate Destinations continues to monitor the global pandemic both in the United States and in Ethiopia and Uganda. We will continue to update this page prior to departure with any changes in local or international travel regulations.

COUNTRY REQUIREMENTS
  • Ethiopia: As of October 2022, Ethiopia is not requiring proof of the Covid vaccine or a negative PCR test
  • Uganda: As of March 7, 2023, Uganda is not requiring proof of the Covid vaccine or negative PCR test
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS TRIP
  • Covid Vaccination: Be fully vaccinated for Covid within 30 days of departure.  Travelers are required to also be up to date with any additional doses of the vaccine you are eligible for, which in many cases means having at least one booster. Keep a copy of your vaccine certificate with you throughout the trip.
  • Medical Insurance: Purchase medical insurance that covers Covid-related expenses and costs associated with quarantine.
