INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS:

International arrival and departure flights are booked by travelers independently. Here are our recommended arrival/departure times:

• Saturday, March 4, 2023: Arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) by 3:00 pm
• Saturday, March 11, 2023:  Depart for your international flight home or continued travels today. You have two options:
  • Depart anytime from Jaipur International Airport (JAI)
  • Depart in the evening from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi
    • Please note: We can arrange a transfer for you from Jaipur to Delhi this morning. The drive takes about 5 hours, so please plan to take an evening flight.

If you would like assistance booking your flights, please contact Abbey (abbey@elevatedestinations.com) to introduce you with a flight booking specialist. Please be prepared to supply the following information:

• Airline Preference
• Class (economy, business, etc)
• Home Airport
• Arrival Date & Timeframe
• Departure Date & Timeframe
• Airport of destination (arrival & departure)

Once your flights are booked, kindly forward your international flight information to Abbey at abbey@elevatedestinations.com.

MEDICAL INSURANCE:

Elevate Destinations requires that all travelers purchase medical insurance that will cover them for any medical expenses while in India, including Covid related expenses. If you have medical insurance that will cover you in India, please email Abbey (abbey@elevatedestinations.com) with a copy of your insurance policy including your insurance provider’s emergency phone number.

While not required, Elevate Destinations strongly recommend that travelers purchase insurance with Cancel for Any Reason level coverage. Please note that all Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) insurance policies are time sensitive and require purchase within 1 to 21 days of making a payment for your trip. CFAR provides more robust coverage for any unexpected trip cancellations or delays.

2. Trawick International – Trawick International provides fast and basic insurance coverage. You can contact Trawick at info@trawickinternational.com or call (888) 301-9289 anytime.

Guests may acquire medical insurance through Yonder, Trawick International, or any other insurance company of their choosing. If you purchase insurance with Yonder, please be sure to tell them you have booked your trip through Elevate Destinations. Elevate Destinations recommends that travelers evaluate the insurance options available for their needs and inquire with providers about insurance that will provide coverage if the trip needs to be cancelled.

PASSPORT:

Please make sure your passport is current and valid for at least 6 months beyond your trip departure date. Your passport should have at least 3 blank pages for the entry and exit stamps, or more if you are visiting several countries on this trip. Please note that the last two amendment pages are not acceptable for visas and immigration stamps.

VISA:

Citizens from the US will require a tourist visa in order to enter India. Please see the Visa Information tab for more information.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Provide Indian E-Visa upon entry.

Please note: As of December 29th, 2022, it is no longer required to show proof of vaccination upon entry to India. However, we still highly recommend traveling with your Covid Vaccine Card. You can download the CLEAR App (download the app here) on your mobile phone to generate a digital copy of your Covid Vaccine Card.

Due to this, extra precautions are now being taken at the airport upon arrival such as: thermal temperature screening of passengers, and random testing of 2% of all international travelers over 12 years old upon arrival into India.
