Together Women Rise Journey to Tanzania
August 10-18, 2023
PRICING:
The cost of the trip is $5,100 per person. For single accommodations, there is a $200 single supplement. Once we receive your registration form, we will be in touch with you about payment to reserve your spot on the trip. Please note that Together Women Rise members will have priority registering until April 1st.
REGISTRATION FORM & PAYMENT DEADLINES:
Your spot on the trip is not confirmed until we receive your 30% deposit. Full payment for registered travelers is due May 10, 2023. To register for the trip, please complete our Registration Form at your earliest convenience.
Participants must be 16 years or older to join a Together Women Rise Journey and must be accompanied by their legal guardian.
Inclusions:
- Shared accommodations
- All in-country transportation
- Domestic flight
- All meals and a non-alcoholic beverage at all meals
- All activities
- Tour guide
- National park entrance and concession fees
- Driver throughout the trip
- Gratuities for drivers/restaurant staff
Exclusions:
- International flights
- Travel and medical insurance (required)
- Personal expenses (shopping, phone calls, laundry, etc.)
- Gratuities for hotel housekeeping (US$2-3 per day)
- Gratuities for airport transfer driver (US$5 per person)
- Gratuities for trip manager and lead safari guide ($100-$140 per person for entire trip) – USD are acceptable
- Gratuities for the SEGA School volunteer lodging staff ($50 per person) – strongly recommended in Tanzanian Shillings TSH
- Note: please bring clean, new U.S. bills.
COVID VACCINATION:
To participate on this trip, you must be fully vaccinated against Covid and up to date with any additional doses of the vaccine you may be eligible for. In many cases, this means you must be boosted before travel. This is required to protect the health of your fellow travelers and the health of the communities you will visit, while under the duty of Elevate Destinations care.
PHYSICIAN’S FORM:
Due to the remote nature of this experience, we are requesting a physician’s approval to participate in this trip. Please download the form here. You must return this form by May 10, 2023 to Jill at jill@elevatedestinations.com.
CHILD PROTECTION FORM:
Please also complete the Child Protection Policy Form required by SEGA to visit their school. You can download the form here and return it to Jill (jill@elevatedestinations.com) by May 10, 2023.
