INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS

The main program begins on November 7 in Siem Reap and ends on November 18 in Phnom Penh. Arrival and departure flights are booked by travelers independently. Here are our recommended arrival and departure times:

• Thursday, November 7, 2024: Arrive at Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport (SAI) by the afternoon. Check-in begins at 2:00pm. The trip will kick off with a Welcome Dinner at the hotel this evening, likely around 6:30pm.
• Monday, November 18, 2024: Depart from Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH) anytime. Check-out ends at 12:00pm.

INSURANCE

Elevate Destinations will purchase emergency evacuation coverage for you. This policy covers emergency evacuations due to medical, political, or natural disasters from November 8 – 17, 2024. This policy also provides $5,000 of emergency medical coverage. More details about this coverage are noted in this brochure.

This coverage does not include trip cancelation or interruption benefits and also does not cover pre- or post-trip days of travel. We strongly suggest you purchase additional coverage to cover your non-refundable expenses in the event you need to cancel your trip or have additional expenses incurred on the trip.

Elevate strongly recommends purchasing additional travel and medical insurance and Cancel for Any Reason Coverage (CFAR). Cancel for Any Reason’ (CFAR) coverage to cover trip related expenses. Please note that some CFAR insurance options are time-sensitive.  Please be ready to purchase an insurance policy within 14 days of making your first trip payment.

Elevate Destinations is not equipped to answer specific questions on insurance. Please contact the insurance broker or company for specific information.

Please email Hailey (hailey@elevatedestinations.com) with a copy of your insurance policy that covers you in Cambodia, including the policy number and your provider’s emergency phone number.

PASSPORT

For U.S. passport holders, please make sure your passport is current and valid for at least 6 months beyond your trip departure date (May 18, 2025). Your passport should have at least 2 blank pages for the entry and exit stamps, or more if you are visiting several countries on this trip. Please note that the last two amendment pages are not acceptable for visas and immigration stamps.

Please upload a scanned copy of the first page (photo page) of your passport to this secure Dropbox Folder.

If your passport expires before then, you will need to renew your passport. We recommend using A1 Passport & Visa Services. To do so, please email them at info@a1passportvisa.com and let them know you are working with Elevate Destinations on your travel arrangements.

Note that U.S. passport holders are required to obtain a visa to enter Cambodia. See instructions on obtaining your visa below.

VISA

You will need a valid passport and a Cambodian visa to enter Cambodia. Cambodia offers on-line visa processing. You may also apply in person at the Cambodian Embassy located at 4530 16th Street NW, Washington, DC 20011, tel. 202-726-7742, fax 202-726-8381.

We encourage you to apply for your Cambodia visa as soon as you book your flights and no later than October 7, or four weeks prior to your arrival date.

Before you apply, make sure that you have a scanned copy of your passport photo page and a recent passport-size photo in digital format as well as your flight itinerary. Then follow these steps to complete your application:

1. Click here to apply: https://www.evisa.gov.kh/
2. Select “Visa T” and fill out all required fields.
   1. Use the following address for your stay in Cambodia: Tara Angkor Hotel, Vithei Charles De Gaulle, Siem Reap, Cambodia, 17254
   2. Note that your “Port of Entry” on the visa form will be your first destination, Siem Reap, even if your international flight is going to transfer in Phnom Penh before arriving in Siem Reap.
3. Pay the processing fee of $36 to submit your application. All major credit cards are accepted.
4. Visas are typically processed in 3 business days. Print both your receipt of payment and confirmation of your e-visa to carry with you while traveling. This visa is valid for 3 months for a stay of 30 days in Cambodia.

ARRIVAL CARDS

Cambodia’s arrival cards are going 100% digital and all travelers must fill in their e-Arrival form online within 7 days of their arrival in Cambodia.

How to Fill in the e-Arrival Card Online:

1. Visit the official website: arrival.gov.kh
2. Complete the form: Fill in the form online or download the app, available for both iOS and Android devices.
3. Receive confirmation: Once the form is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a QR code.
4. Save the QR code: Take a screenshot, download, or print the QR code.
5. Present the QR code: Show the QR code to immigration upon arrival.

For those who are unable to fill in the form before landing, tablets will be available at most Cambodian airports to complete the e-Arrival form on-site.
