Milliman Giving Fund: Ethiopia and Uganda
October 7-17, 2023
We invite the Milliman Giving Fund for a special trip to Ethiopia and Uganda! This is not your typical journey. It is an experience that has been thoughtfully designed for Milliman staff to deeply understand the significance of their contributions and the impact these investments have had directly on people’s daily lives. Participants will gain inspiration and insight from Milliman’s partners, Splash and Opportunity International, on the context and complexity of working in Ethiopia and Uganda and the solutions that are yielding positive results.
While there is nothing that can compete with witnessing firsthand the lives you have changed around the globe, the end of the trip will not disappoint you. The group will make their way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half the world’s population of mountain gorillas. On this riveting wildlife expedition you will have the opportunity to observe these rare primates at close range in their natural habitat. It is an awe-inspiring experience that you will never forget.
