Day 1
Arrive Sydney

Upon arrival into Sydney’s International Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. With its extraordinary icons, both natural and manmade, Sydney is a city that never fails to please the eye. Its magnificent natural harbor spanned by the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the man-made sails of the Sydney Opera House are just some of its widely-photographed views.

SYDNEY CITY TOUR

Enjoy a full-day tour of Sydney’s sights, including the zoo, where you will have an exclusive private tour and morning tea with a zookeeper.

You will also be treated to a private tour of Sydney’s world famous Opera House, perched on the harbor.

Day 3
Sydney Cruise

Experience Sydney Harbor’s most sensational lunch – a unique four-hour cruise. Your personal captain and host will share the rich history of Sydney Harbor and its foreshore as you take in the sites of the Sydney Harbor Bridge, the Sydney Opera House, and bays and coves. Enjoy a gourmet three-course BBQ lunch with regional wines, local beers, and five-star service. Immerse yourself in all the activities that a private vessel offers – including swimming, fishing, and kayaking – or sit back, relax, and do nothing at all.

Blue Mountains

Return back to Sydney for a quick overnight before departing for Ayers Rock tomorrow.

SYDNEY-AYERS ROCK

Take a private transfer to the airport for your flight to the World Heritage Site of Ayers Rock. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Longitude 131 – your luxurious desert home for the next three nights. This safari-style luxury tented site is the first of its kind in Australia. Built on the very edge of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park, the 15 individual tents have uninterrupted views over Uluru.

After arriving at Longitude 131° and settling in, visit the Cultural Center where you’ll learn the cultural and spiritual meanings of Uluru & Kata Tjuta. Afterwards, travel to Uluru and take a short walk into Kantju Gorge and watch the sunset.

Upon your return in the evening, relax in the Dune House over pre-dinner drinks and canapés before enjoying a gourmet dinner with your fellow travelers or a romantic, private dinner.

Day 8
KATA TJUTA, WALPA GORGE AND FIELD OF LIGHT

Early this morning, depart Longitude 131° for Kata Tjuta. Upon arrival, begin your journey with a guided tour of Walpa Gorge. Learn about the natural history of Kata Tjuta and how eons of weathering and continental upheaval have created what is seen today.

Spend your afternoon at leisure, or enjoy a camel ride or helicopter tour over Uluru and Kata Tjuta.

This evening is a special treat: Field of Light & Table 131°. Begin with a sundowner at the western face of Uluru, allowing you a front-row view of the sun’s daily light spectacular at it sets beyond Kata Tjuta. As the twilight cools the day, walk uninterrupted along the pathways in the Field of Light, just as the tiny buds are lighting up in the evening sky. When it’s time to depart, the field will be fully lit, mirroring the billions of stars in the midnight blue of the desert sky and offering an unforgettable transformation of the landscape. Transfer to an outdoor dining venue, where you’ll have an unforgettable dining experience under the stars. Return to the Dune House for complimentary after dinner drinks.

Day 9
ULURU SUNRISE BASE TOUR

Depart early this morning for Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to view the sun rising over Uluru. You’ll then continue to the Mutitjulu Waterhole to view cave paintings and hear the Kuniya/Liru Tjukurpa story. Return to the Dune House for a well-earned breakfast.

Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10 - 12
NORTHERN TERRITORY

Depart on a flight to Darwin. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Bamarru Plains.

An extraordinary wilderness experience awaits you on the coastal flood plains of the Mary River Delta in the Top End of Australia’s Northern Territory. Situated just west of Kakadu National Park, Bamurru Plains is an utterly exclusive bush camp that exudes ‘wild bush luxury,’ bringing a touch of style to a remote and beautiful wilderness region.

Accommodation is simple yet stylish. There are only nine safari-style bungalows, built with environmentally sensitive design and set amongst the savannah bush that fringes the floodplains.

The focus of your stay at Bamurru is in the environment around you and the wildlife and birdlife for whom it is home. The nine individual, tent-style safari suites are designed to blend in with the sights and sounds of the surrounding bush.
