Action in Africa’s 10th Anniversary Trip
January 26 – February 1, 2025
Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Action in Africa (AIA)’s community center being open on this week-long journey to Uganda, where you will directly engage with the organization’s work by visiting their first community center and participating in a groundbreaking ceremony in preparation for the construction of their second community center. Through these visits you will have the unique opportunity to see and feel the tangible impact of your support. Interact with children at The Center and engage in conversation with community leaders as you participate in AIA’s many programs, such as assisting with homework, grooving in a dance class, doing collaborative art projects with the kids, touring AIA partner schools, helping serve breakfast for 300+ kids, and so much more!
Expand your cultural understanding of Uganda by enjoying local meals and learning about the country’s rich diversity on a tour of Kampala that focuses on the history and tradition of the many ethnic groups that make up the Buganda kingdom.
