MEDICAL INSURANCE:
Elevate Destinations requires that all travelers purchase medical insurance that covers them for $50,000 of medical expenses while in Vietnam, including Covid-related expenses.
Elevate Destinations highly recommends travelers purchase Cancel for Any Reason level of coverage insurance. Please note that all Cancel for Any Reason insurance policies are time sensitive and require purchase within 1 to 21 days of making a payment for your trip. Elevate Destinations recommends that travelers evaluate the insurance options available for their needs and inquire with providers about “cancel for any reason” insurance.
Below are two insurance brokers that Elevate Destinations recommends. However, travelers are welcome to purchase travel insurance from any vendor of their choosing.

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS:
International flights are booked independently by travelers. The main program begins in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday, October 8, 2023 and ends on Saturday, October 14, 2023 in Hanoi. Please book your flights based on the following schedule.
- Sunday, October 8, 2023: Arrive into Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) by 4:00 pm
The trip will kick off this evening with a Welcome Dinner around 6:00 pm - Saturday, October 14, 2023: Depart from Noi Bai International Airport (HAN). Plan for flight departure time after 7:00 pm

PASSPORT:
Please make sure your passport is current and valid for at least 6 months beyond your trip departure date. Your passport should have at least 2 blank pages for the entry and exit stamps, or more if you are visiting several countries on this trip. Please note that the last two amendment pages are not acceptable for visas and immigration stamps. Please upload your passport to this secure Dropbox Folder.
VISA:
A visa to visit Vietnam is required for USA Citizens and most nationalities. You can apply for an e-visa which will allow you to have a single entry with the validity of 30 days. Please note however, that you cannot change your arrival port of entry after approval.
