Rotary WeCARe Trip to Poland & Romania
October 14 – 26, 2024
INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS
The main program begins on Monday, October 14 in Warsaw, Poland and ends on Saturday, October 26 in Cluj, Romania.* International flights, including the flight from Poland to Romania during the trip, are booked independently by travelers.
Please book all three international flights based on the following schedule.
- Monday, October 14: Arrive at Warsaw Chopin International Airport (WAW) by 4:00 pm local time. The trip will kick off with a Welcome Dinner at the hotel this evening.
- Monday, October 21: Inter-Europe flight
- Flight Number: Polish Airlines LOT; Flight number LO 645
- Flight Path: Warsaw (WAW) to Bucharest (OTP)
- Departure Time: 2:35 pm
- Arrival Time: 5:30 pm
- One-way
- Important Notes: For anyone traveling to both countries, we strongly recommend booking this specific flight upon registration. This is not included in your trip cost and travelers must purchase this independently. Due to the schedule on this day, please ensure that you book only this flight and not any other. - Saturday, October 26: Depart from Romania’s Cluj “Avram Iancu” International Airport (CLJ) anytime.
*Note that if you are only joining for one country, you will likely not need to book the October 21 flight. If you are joining only in Poland, you will depart from Warsaw. If you are joining only in Romania, you will arrive in Bucharest.

INSURANCE
Elevate Destinations will purchase emergency evacuation coverage for you. This policy covers emergency evacuations due to medical, political, or natural disasters that may occur during the group trip. This policy also provides $5,000 of emergency medical coverage. More details about this coverage are noted in this brochure.
This coverage does not include trip cancelation or interruption benefits and also does not cover pre- or post-trip days of travel. We strongly suggest you purchase additional coverage to cover your non-refundable expenses in the event you need to cancel your trip or have additional expenses incurred on the trip.
Elevate strongly recommends purchasing additional travel and medical insurance and Cancel for Any Reason Coverage (CFAR) coverage to cover trip related expenses. Please note that some CFAR insurance options are time-sensitive. Please be ready to purchase an insurance policy within 14 days of making your first trip payment.

Elevate Destinations is not equipped to answer specific questions on insurance. Please contact the insurance broker or company for specific information.
Please email Yumi (yumi@elevatedestinations.com). with a copy of your insurance policy that covers you in Poland and/or Romania, including the policy number and your provider’s emergency phone number.
PASSPORT
1. Check that your passport:
- Is current and valid for at least 6 months beyond your trip departure date (April 26, 2025).
- Has at least 2 blank pages for the entry and exit stamps, or more if you are visiting several countries on this trip. The last two amendment pages are unacceptable for visas and immigration stamps.
2. Upload your passport: Please upload a scanned copy of your passport to this secure Dropbox folder.
3. Passport renewal: If your passport expires before then, you will need to renew your passport. We recommend using A1 Passport & Visa Services. To do so, please email them at info@a1passportvisa.com and let them know you are working with Elevate Destinations on your travel arrangements.
Note that U.S. passport holders are not required to obtain a visa to enter Poland or Romania. With a valid U.S. passport, you can stay up to 90 days in the Schengen area for tourism or business during any 180-day period. You must wait an additional 90 days before applying to re-enter the Schengen area.
