INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS
The main program begins on March 13 in Turin and ends on March 21 in Rome. Arrival and departure flights are not included in trip registration and should be booked by travelers independently. Here are our recommended arrival and departure times:
- March 13: Arrive at Milan Malpensa International Airport (MXP) by early afternoon. The trip will kick off with a Welcome Dinner at the hotel this evening, likely around 6pm. Note there is a 2-hour transfer from the Milan Airport to the hotel in Turin.
- March 21: Depart from Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) anytime.

INSURANCE
Elevate Destinations will purchase medical insurance and emergency evacuation coverage for you, valid from March 13 – 21, 2025. This policy covers the following:
- Accident / Sickness Medical Expense Maximum $ 500,000.00
- Deductible $ 0.00 / All Cause
- Co-Insurance The plan will pay a 100% up to the policy max.
- Emergency Medical Evacuation Maximum $ 200,000.00
- Return of Mortal Remains $ 10,000.00
- Accidental Death & Dismemberment $ 10,000.00
- Political; Natural Disaster Evacuation $ 10,000.00 / $50,000 aggregate
- Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion 1 Year
- Personal Property $ 100.00 maximum
- 24-Hour Assistance Included

This coverage does not include trip cancelation or interruption benefits and also does not cover pre- or post-trip days of travel booked outside of Elevate Destinations. We strongly suggest you purchase additional coverage to cover your non-refundable expenses in the event you need to cancel your trip or have additional expenses incurred on the trip.
Elevate and Rotary strongly recommend purchasing Cancel for Any Reason Coverage (CFAR) to cover trip related expenses. Please note that some CFAR insurance options are time-sensitive. Please be ready to purchase an insurance policy within 14 days of making your first trip payment. Below are two vendors we recommend, however you are free to purchase a policy from any vendor of your choosing.

If you choose to purchase a Cancel For Any Reason insurance policy, please email Abbey (abbey@elevatedestinations.com) with a copy of the policy, including the policy name and number.
PASSPORT
1. Check that your passport:
- Is current and valid for at least 3 months beyond your departure date from the Schengen Area. Six months validity is recommended.
- Has at least 2 blank pages for the entry and exit stamps, or more if you are visiting several countries on this trip. The last two amendment pages are unacceptable for visas and immigration stamps.
2. Upload your passport: Please upload a scanned copy of your passport to this secure Dropbox folder.
3. Passport renewal: If your passport expires before then, you will need to renew your passport. We recommend using A1 Passport & Visa Services. To do so, please email them at info@a1passportvisa.com and let them know you are working with Elevate Destinations on your travel arrangements.
VISA & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Citizens from the United States, Japan and Taiwan, are soon to be required to obtain travel authorization to Italy. This is expected to be launched in early 2025. Once more information becomes available, we will let you know. As of now, you can find more information about this new requirement here.
Citizens of India and the Philippines are required to obtain a visa for Italy. You can find the full instructions on how to apply using this website using the reason for stay as “tourism.” Elevate Destinations will provide you with proof of accommodation which is required for the application.
You will need to first fill out the online form, print it out, and then bring it in person to an Italian Representation Office for approval. The visa typically takes around 15-30 days to process so it is recommended to apply no later than Tuesday, February 11, 2025 to avoid any potential processing delays.
Train Luggage Restriction
You will transfer from Turin to Florence via high-speed train. Business class seats have been reserved and the luggage regulations is a maximum of two suitcases per person, the size of which must not exceed 183 cm (as sum of length, width, and depth) per bag.
