Private Travel Sales Associate
We are seeking a strong Sales Associate who knows how to proactively curate and sell custom luxury trips to the destinations we serve . The ideal candidate is someone who will meet and exceed sales goals and expectations and be comfortable working in a goal-driven company where each sales team member manages their own book of business as well as takes leads generated through company marketing and sales efforts. As a new team member, it is expected that the candidate will already have a solid client database to sell to through the company. This teammate must be highly organized, decisive and reliable. We expect this person to have thorough knowledge of and a proven track record in Sales Management within a luxury travel company including expert destination knowledge of 2-3 regions, preferably Europe, Asia and Australia/ Pacific. A proven interest and expertise in sustainability is also desired.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
What you are accountable for
- Deliver gross sales of approximately $1 million-$1.5 million per year.
- Participate in the strategic planning of the sales profit goals.
- Define and own the sales targets by trip, destination, and type of trip.
- Comfortable building and managing trip budgets to ensure company profit level goals.
- Instrumental in driving marketing and sales focus including altering messaging to clients and internal team members.
- Client experience management including working with operations team to ensure a strong customer journey from first contact to ongoing maintenance of relationship.
- Participate in creation and management of client loyalty, recognition, and appreciation initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire and retain customers in partnership with the operations team.
- Work with marketing team members to ideate and support lead generation activation activities, retention programs, and brand-specific campaigns.
- Participate in trendsetting practices for sales initiatives, including analysis and documentation of competitor and industry best practices.
- Attend travel trade shows and other industry functions as necessary to continually identify best sales and client services practices.
- Participate in FAM travel to deepen regional expertise.

- Both internal (your peers) and external clients commend your excellent verbal and written communication skills and the timeliness of your follow-up.
- Has the ability to, and thrives when working independently or in a team-oriented environment and always meets team and individual deadlines.
- Has worked in a CRM system, specifically Hubspot, and excels in managing the system for sales, working with the operations team to ensure that the best customer journey is provided and subsequently captured in Hubspot.
- Has extensive experience working with high-end clients in a travel sales role, either with a luxury custom travel tour operator or as a travel advisor.
- Destination knowledge in the regions where Elevate travels and personal expertise in multiple regions.
- Has an interest in sustainability and community development and believes that travel should be a force for good.
- Loves to multi-task and assist where needed. You have strong attention to detail, resolve problems independently, and work well under pressure.
- Has impeccable listening skills, willingness to learn, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Is a US citizen, and either lives in the US or within three hours time difference from the East Coast.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
This role reports to the CEO for Elevate Destinations and is 100% focused on the Private Travel Division.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Annual salary: $75,000
- Vacation: 3 weeks
- Bonus: 2.5% of profit after the first 6 months

Remote – within three hours of Eastern US time zone
