After the tour, you'll be taken to Manyara National Park for lunch at the Magara Waterfalls, followed by a mid-afternoon mountain bike ride to the park's south gate.

The small but beautiful Lake Manyara National Park is home to a surprising amount of species in a varied landscape of acacia woodlands, forests, baobab-strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. The park contains over 400 species of birds and the highest concentration of baboons in the world. Visitors can also spot giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, cape clawless otters, and Egyptian mongooses. You may also see thousands of flamingos on the lake, the famous tree-climbing lions, and large herds of elephants wandering through the forest.

In the late afternoon, enjoy a game drive to reach the Manyara Green Camp, positioned at the base of the Endabash Waterfall, which is a vital watering hole for the local wildlife. Wind down with sundowners by the waterfall and have dinner under the stars beside a dry river bed.

Set away from the game drive tracks, and as one of the few camps in the park, the Manyara Green Camp offers the perfect balance of privacy and serenity. Its scenic surroundings and the abundance of wildlife make it one of the top bush camps in the area.

Day 6
Central Serengeti

This morning, your driver and guide will take you to the Ngorongoro Area and then to the Serengeti Plains, where you will walk into Wayo Little Green Camp. This camp is relocated seasonally to coincide with the wildebeest migration.

Have lunch at camp and embark on an afternoon walking safari in the central Serengeti. In the evening, enjoy sundowners while exchanging stories of the day, followed by dinner under the stars. Tonight, you will sleep in a unique star tent, offering stunning night sky views through a transparent tent mesh.

In the heart of Tanzania, the Central Serengeti includes the famous Seronera Valley, renowned for its exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. This area features vast open plains, rocky granite outcrops, acacia woodlands, rivers, and streams. It is part of the great wildebeest and zebra migration and offers an ideal habitat for wildlife such as giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, hyena, jackal, serval, and more.

Little Green Camp offers a more intimate and immersive experience of the Serengeti due to its smaller size. The camp is able to move more frequently, closely tracking the herds as they roam through the Serengeti.

Watch for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the movements of wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores. Your guide will select the optimal route based on the season and the specific animals you want to encounter, ensuring an enjoyable day observing the wildlife.

The seasonal Wayo Serengeti Green Camps in the North or South are strategically positioned to coincide with the yearly main wildebeest events. The North camp is placed to access the Mara River yet far enough away to avoid the crowds.
