Day 1
ARRIVE LISBON

Take a private, 30-minute transfer from Lisbon Airport to Cascais. Cascais, once a small fishing village, is now an elegant and stylish town with a beautiful historic center and traditional streets.

Enjoy your evening at leisure.

SINTRA PALACES AND CASTLES HIKE

Private day excursion to visit the UNESCO village of Sintra and its amazing palaces and castles.

Take a 30-minute transfer in the morning, followed by a three-hour hike with a visit to the Moorish castle and the gardens of Pena Palace.

Enjoy lunch at Sintra village and an afternoon visit to the amazing Regaleira Palace.

Transfer back to the hotel.

Day 3
LISBON VISIT

Visit Lisbon with a guide – spend the day touring the old town, the castle, and various viewpoints. Enjoy lunch on a typical “tasca” and return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 4
EXPLORE CASCAIS

Enjoy a day to relax at the swimming pool or the hotel playground, perfect for little ones in your family.

For the more active, enjoy a walk to Guincho Beach, a bicycle ride by the sea, or a horse ride in Qta da Marinha, close to the hotel.

Day 5
HEADING SOUTH

Start the day with a one-hour transfer to Arrabida Natural Park. In the park, enjoy a one-hour hike to admire the white limestone cliffs and the blue ocean. Visit the historical Azeitão Village and a tile factory.

Enjoy a tapas lunch with Azeitão cheese, presunto ham, and local, traditional cakes!

Continue traveling south (two-hour transfer), and arrive at your next accommodation.

Day 6
RELAX AT THE FARMHOUSE

Enjoy a day to relax at the swimming pool and experience the amazing farmhouse.

Pick vegetables from Craveiral’s own vegetable garden, and visit the orchard with over 600 indigenous fruit trees. Take a horse, tractor, or bicycle ride, and spend time with the animals (donkeys, pigs, goats, and ducks) at the resort’s educational farm.

Day 7
A DAY OF FISHING

Take a 30-minute transfer, and a stop at a local ceramic workshop to visit and learn about the area. Visit the neighboring village of Azenha do Mar, on an amazing spot by the sea, and meet its local community—namely the fishermen and women who will show us their village and port. They also build fishing tools and equipment manually, some of which have been adapted to contemporary design objects that will be shown in a surprising way.

Piedade, a local fisherwoman, will cook with what her husband and son have caught the night before—an amazing, fresh, fish stew that will be tasted near the small fishing port. Everyone will help out laying the open-air table.

Return to the hotel.

Day 8
SAGRES VILLAGE

Leave the hotel with your guide, and take a 30-minute transfer to Aljezur Village—a beautiful Moorish-style village with a castle. Spend time visiting the market, exploring local products, and buying some food for your picnic.

Visit the Moorish Castle, and get a memorable view over the region.

Then partake in an incredible three-hour hike by the sea with amazing views! Picnic by the cliffs, and end at Arrifana Village. Transfer to Sagres (one hour). Arrive at your final accommodation.

Day 9
SAGRES AND THE CAPE ST VINCENT

Enjoy a free morning to relax on the beach in front of the hotel. A boat tour can be organized for the more active.

During the afternoon, visit the most southwesterly point of Europe, Cape St. Vincent. It is also possible to visit Sagres Fortress—built on the orders of Henry the Navigator, one of the chief drivers in what became known as the Age of Discoveries. Henry spent much of his time here before setting off on his voyages. He was the first European to discover the Azores and large parts of the African coastline.

Day 10
SALEMA VILLAGE HIKE

Today, take a hike with a short 20-minute transfer to the beautiful old fishing village of Salema. Stroll by the village, and then hike by the west coast of Algarve to reach your hotel. Relax for the last afternoon of your holiday.

Transfer back to Lisbon for your international flight home (three hours).
