En-route, admire the breathtaking views and search for an array of wildlife including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, warthog, the Cape clawless otter, and Egyptian mongoose. Learn about the park's history and the numerous birds in this small but fascinating park.
Have a picnic lunch in the afternoon before the drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Relax for the evening and enjoy dinner at your camp.
Ngorongoro Crater
The UNESCO-listed crater is most well-known for its natural beauty and the abundance of diverse wildlife it contains. The area is one of Africa's most iconic safari destinations. Keep your eye out for the world-renowned Big Five and plenty of other wildlife species including large herds of zebra and wildebeest. The area offers a variety of adventurous activities including bird watching, trekking, wildlife viewing, mountain biking and a visit to a local Maasai village.
Surrounded by large trees, Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp is comprised of ten luxury safari tents – each with an en-suite bathroom and indoor bucket shower. The tents also feature hairdryers, power outlets, and a small sitting area out the front. The three large and comfortable communal tents provide a dining area, a lounge area, and a bar where pre-dinner drinks are served. All of the main areas include wonderful views of the surrounding scenery. For a more intimate experience, you can choose to dine on individual tables set in secluded locations around the camp.

Northern Serengeti
The vast, rolling savannah of the Northern Serengeti is the hub of the Great Migration between late July and October. The landscape has been crafted from extensive stretches of savannah scattered with acacia trees, large kopjes, and riverine woodlands. Wildlife is frequently spotted along the banks of the Mara River, a premium location to view the annual event of the migrating wildebeest. Sightings also include buffalo, zebra, giraffe, elephants, lion, leopard, gazelles, and impala.
Overnight: Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp (Northern Serengeti)
The Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp in Tanzania is based in two set locations across the Serengeti. The camp invites guests to experience the movement of a million-plus wildebeest and zebra as they follow the fresh grasses across the Serengeti plains during the annual migration cycle.
The camp contains just ten luxury safari tents, all with wooden decks, en-suite bathrooms, and indoor bucket showers. The tents are elegantly furnished with portable cabinets and desks and feature power outlets and a hairdryer. The common area is made up of a central canopied area where the main tent flows into lounges, dining wings, and a bar, all with sides that can be opened to reveal panoramic views of the camp’s beautiful surroundings. Meals are prepared by the camp chef and consist of international flavors as well as traditional dishes.
