Round-Trip Flights to Puerto Rico
Travelers are responsible for their own round-trip flights to Puerto Rico. If you would like the contact information for a trusted travel agent, we are happy to provide you with this information. Once you have booked your flights, kindly forward your itinerary to Dana Droller at Elevate Destinations (dana@elevatedestinations.com) so that Elevate Destinations can plan for your airport transfer.
Please use the following as a guide when booking your itinerary:
- Tuesday, February 25th: Arrive in San Juan Airport (SJU) no later than 4:00 PM*. The trip kicks off with a welcome reception and dinner at 6:00 PM.
- Friday, February 28th: Depart from San Juan Airport (SJU) after 12:00 PM. The trip closes with breakfast and a final learning session on Friday morning.
We recommend bringing a copy of your flight itinerary with you during your travels.
While the EDF trip to Puerto Rico begins on February 25th and ends on February 28th, we would be happy to help you extend your travels on the island. Please contact Dana Droller (dana@elevatedestinations.com) for more information.
*Please note that check-in is not available until 4:00 PM at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel, but you are welcome to enjoy the hotel facilities and safely store your luggage while you are waiting for your room.
Travel Insurance
Elevate Destinations strongly recommends that all travelers purchase travel insurance to protect you from unexpected events. February can be a challenging travel month from the U.S. because of unpredictable weather. Flights can be delayed or cancelled, causing travelers to miss part or all of the trip. As a reminder, the trip fee is non-refundable after November 15th, 2019.
Please note that some insurance options require purchase within 24 hours of making payment for your trip. Elevate Destinations recommends that travelers evaluate the insurance options available for their needs, and inquire with providers about insurance that will provide coverage if the trip needs to be cancelled.
Elevate Destinations is partnered with the Travel Insurance Center, a broker of travel protection products. For assistance, contact Alan Lightbody, Agent Representative on email at alightbody@travelinsurancecenter.com or toll free at 1-866-979-6753, ext. 3648 or on his direct line, 402-343-3648.
