- Adoption of the World Travel & Tourism Council’s health and hygiene global standardized protocols.
- The CDC & US State Department warnings and recommendations for a destination.
- The Covid restrictions and protocols for entry into the destination.
- The Covid restrictions and protocols for reentry into the United States.
- Access to timely, accurate testing.
- Total infection rates for the past 4 weeks.
- Country-wide restrictions (lockdowns, curfews, restricted areas, social distancing measures, mask adoption, and compliance).
- The total number of vaccinations administered in the country.
- Vaccine status and comfort level of the staff, vendors, NGO guest speakers, drivers, and tour guide interacting with the journey.
- The Covid protocols, requirements and comfort levels of our local host team and partners in the country with having us come.
- Vendors, restaurants, transportation, and hotels’ Covid safety measures.
- Locations for safe quarantine outside of hospitals.
- Hospitals’ capacity for administering care for critical Covid patients.
