Everyone deserves the chance to travel. Yet, all too often, seeing the world is a privilege reserved for the global elite. At Elevate Destinations, we bridge the divide. Our goal is to connect local youths to their own environments, as travelers and as stewards.
Through our innovative Buy a Trip, Give a Trip model, your trip purchase creates fun new travel opportunities for local kids. For the first time, they experience nearby natural and cultural wonders. They see the sites, have fun, and make the kind of travel memories that we take for granted. Here’s just one example of Buy a Trip, Give a Trip in action:
The Travelers:
12 children from Hogar Para Sus Niños, a nonprofit orphanage in Quito, between the ages of two and seven years old.
The Excursion:
The children from Hogar Para Sus Niños embarked on a trip about 50 minutes south of Quito to a thematic farm where they were able to learn about and feed animals, ride Shetland ponies, and ride in a horse-drawn carriage. The youth were also able to explore the area and nearby lake and express themselves creatively by drawing and painting at the farm.
Partner Organization: Hogar Para Sus Niños
Hogar Para Sus Niños is a nonprofit and nongovernmental organization dedicated to protecting and empowering at-risk children. HPSN offers each child personalized care, providing an array of services and support mechanisms. Including psychological support, medical care, education, and legal assistance, each child is supported in a way that meets their unique needs. HPSN has two offices in Ecuador and houses a total of 57 children. Both offices foster a cheerful environment that encourages play, well-being, and a good quality of life.
