Sample Itinerary
Day 1
ARRIVAL BANGKOK
Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.In the evening, you will enjoy a stay at Bangkok Tree House, which is one of the few green hotels by the river in Bangkok.

Day 2
BANGKOK CITY TOUR ON A TUK TUK
Meet up with your guide and drive to visit two of the most special Buddhist temples in the city. The Buddha in Wat Trimitr weighs several tons and is made of solid gold; and the famous Reclining Buddha at Wat Po, where the blind may be trained to become masseuses. Then visit a site the Thai people consider the most sacred in the entire Kingdom: the Grand Palace. This is one of the most beautiful examples of an ancient Thai court, with several halls located in same compound. You will also visit the temple of the sacred Emerald Buddha.
Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant before continuing by tuk tuk to Phahurat Market, in the heart of Bangkok’s little India. Here you will find all kinds of fabrics, cloths, ornaments, and accessories available to purchase.

Day 3
BANGKOK – KHAO YAI NATIONAL PARK
Depart Bangkok by road to Khao Yai National Park where you will visit a beautiful waterfall for a swim. You may even be lucky enough to spot some wild elephants that live here! The National Park features cliffs towering 1270 m above sea level, providing magnificent views over Khao Yai.
Spend the night at the ‘Kirimaya’ which means ‘illusion of mountain.’ Stargaze, watch wildlife up close, and traverse breathtaking nature trails.
After dinner, enjoy a night safari with the park rangers.

Day 4
KHAO YAI NATIONAL PARK
Today stretch your legs with a leisurely 5 km hike through one of the most scenic trails in the park. Your guide will help you to spot pig-tail monkeys and great hornbills, as well as some of the other amazing wildlife that can be found here. Next, take some time to cool off at Heiw Sawat Waterfall before heading back to your hotel for dinner. After dinner, head out on a night safari drive to search for Indian civet cats, porcupines, deer, wild dogs, and wild elephants.

Day 5
KORAT – PIMAI HISTORICAL – BANGKOK
After breakfast, visit the Ban Prasart archaeological excavation site and one of the most famous Khmer ruins in Thailand at Phi Mai. Drive back to Bangkok after lunch and enjoy the evening exploring the city on your own.

Day 6
BANGKOK – KANCHANABURI – KHAO LEAM HOUSEBOAT LAKE SAFARI
Drive to Kanchanaburi and the infamous ‘Bridge over the River Kwai.’ After lunch continue to a lake-side village to board a traditional-style Thai houseboat. Spend the afternoon swimming, relaxing on deck, or napping in a hammock as the houseboat slowly cruises the lake. In the evening enjoy a delicious Thai dinner.

Day 7
LAKE CRUISING – WATERFALL HIKE – COCONUT ISLAND
After a hearty Western breakfast, go kayaking to the end of a small bay (or travel by motorboat). Take a short hike through the jungle to a waterfall for a swim and some play (please note that there is no water in the waterfall from March-May), then head towards Coconut Island, one of the few inhabited islands in this area. After exploring the island return to the houseboat to relax and swim, then in the afternoon, cruise to a beautiful spot to anchor for the night.

Day 8
LAKE CRUISING – CAVES – TRIBAL – RIVER RAFTING
After breakfast take a short kayak adventure into some small caves, then return to the houseboat and head north. In the afternoon, enjoy rafting downstream on a long-tail boat.
After lunch, embark on a fun-filled rafting adventure. Note: rafting can be “easy” from November to June, but is moderately strenuous from July to October.
Dinner is onboard the houseboat under a starry night sky.

Day 9
KHAO LEAM – HUA HIN
This morning enjoy some swimming, fishing, and sunbathing. In mid-morning, say goodbye to the houseboat and transfer by motorboat to the village of Wang Kha, which is home to a number of ethnic minorities. Explore a picturesque temple and wander through a Burmese market selling crafts and jewelry. Continue to Sangkhlaburi via Thailand’s longest wooden bridge, where a vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to Hua Hin for a relaxing beach break.
