Today, you'll be treated to the culinary delights of San Sebastián with an invitation to an ancient gastronomic society. These exclusive clubs were created for members to gather for quality conversation and cook meals for their friends.
Accompanied by our knowledgeable private guide, you'll be welcome to share a meal with some members of one of the city's oldest societies. First, you'll take a trip to the bustling market together to handpick the freshest and finest ingredients.
Once inside the society's intimate space, sit back and enjoy the moment with a glass of wine while your talented hosts work their culinary magic for you. Observe closely as they prepare a feast that captures the essence of Basque traditions. You may learn a skill or two to take home!

Day 3
French Basque Coast
Delectable croissants, cheese shops, and fresh oysters await you on the French Basque Coast. In the past, European royals favored this destination for their summer sojourns, reveling in champagne and gambling. While the traditions live on, your journey focuses on discovering the joys of fresh pastries, trendy boutiques, and the occasional glass of champagne.
Your first stop is Biarritz, an epitome of chic beach resorts along the Basque Coast. This luxurious seaside town, beloved by tourists and surfers, boasts some of Europe's finest beaches.
Next, venture to Saint Jean de Luz, formerly the Basque Corsairs' capital. This once-thriving fishing village flourished in the 16th century through fishing, whaling, and piracy. Today, it's a quiet town graced with streets that bear the names of famous pirates. Wander through its historic center, characterized by traditional wooden houses and a fine sandy beach. For lunch, you'll have the chance to dine on fresh seafood and local delicacies at one of your guide's favorite restaurants.
This afternoon, your guide will bring you on a scenic drive along the "La Corniche" coastal road, leading you back into Spain. Your destination is Hondarribia, one of the Basque Country's most captivating towns. Enclosed by medieval walls that stand proudly to this day, the old town of Hondarribia exudes a unique charm. Admire the typical Basque fishermen's houses with colorful balconies embellished with blooming flowers.
Before returning to San Sebastián, delve into local craftsmanship in a private masterclass. A skilled local artist will impart classic pottery techniques, allowing you to connect with the region's cultural heritage.

Day 4
Cantabrian Coast
After a relaxing morning at your hotel, you'll be picked up by your private car and driver. You'll have the car for six hours to see the Cantabrian Coast on a self-guided tour on your way to your mountain hotel.
We first suggest visiting the San Vicente de la Barquera village for a quick dip at one of Asturias's stunning beaches. This region boasts the world's finest seafood and fish harvests, lovingly prepared at family-run asadores in colorful fishing ports like Ribadesella and Cudillero.
Heading inland, the mighty Picos de Europa soar high above the landscape. Travel into the Somiedo Valley, where you'll encounter wildlife and scenery reminiscent of Alaska, a territory where wolves and bears roam freely.
At the end of your self-guided tour, your driver will drop you at Hotel Puebloastur, a sanctuary in Asturias's heart. Take the evening to rejuvenate, indulging in the hotel's spa, sauna, or indoor pool facilities.

Day 5
Cain to Poncebos
Brace yourself for a journey along some of the most spectacular hiking trails in Europe, where breathtaking landscapes unfold before your eyes. Today you'll see the Picos de Europa Mountains on foot, led by a licensed local mountain guide.
Today you will walk the Cares Route along the Cares River, nicknamed ‘the Divine Gorge.’ During your hike, enjoy the refreshing scenery of lush meadows, snow-capped mountains and mountain villages. The trek will take you along narrow pathways that weave through soaring cliffs and steep drops to the river below.
Alternatively, you can take the Ordiales Scenic Balcony Trail, beginning just behind Lake Enol. Traverse along green mountain pastures, and ascend through the towering rocky pinnacles of Santa María and La Cebollera.
Accompanied by your guide, you'll trek at your own pace, allowing for leisurely stops to soak in the natural wonders surrounding you. The hike will take around 3-4 hours.
Once you reach the end of the Cares route in Poncebos, your driver will pick you up and transport you back to your hotel.

Day 6
Picos de Europa Mountains
This morning after breakfast, you’ll be picked up by your private 4x4 driver and brought to the heart of the mighty Picos de Europa mountains. Take in the breathtaking views on an exciting mountain ride in your 4x4. You’ll see striking peaks, pass narrow mountain passes and mountain villages. The drive's highlight will be the Covadonga lakes, located 1,134m above sea level.
You'll soon arrive at one of the best artisanal cheese farms in Picos de Europa, where local shepherds mature the cheese inside a cave. Venture into the cave's depths to see how the Cabrales cheeses are aged in the darkness. And, of course, no visit is complete without tasting some of their unique cheeses.
After indulging in cheese, head to a local restaurant to try the region's cuisine with a simple meal prepared with local fresh produce.
Next, your guide will bring you to the revered Sanctuary of Covadonga, one of Asturias' most emblematic sites. This historic sanctuary, located inside a cave, holds significant cultural and religious importance. It was here, in 722, that the reconquest of Spain began.

Costa Brava
After a restful stay at Hotel Puebloastur, your driver will collect you for your transfer to Bilbao Airport to catch your flight to Barcelona.
Your guide will be waiting to collect you at Barcelona Airport for the drive to your next stay, Hotel Aigua Blava. This magnificent hotel has sensational sea views and is situated on one of Costa Brava's finest beaches, Aiguablava. At Hotel Aigua Blava, crystal-clear waters, golden sandy beaches, and nearby towns like Pals and Tamariu'll surround you.

Girona
This morning a private car and driver will be waiting to collect you to see the historic city of Girona. Prepare to be transported back in time as you traverse more than 2,000 years of history through the fortified enclosures of the Força Vella (Old Fortress) and the Medieval Eixample.
The Força Vella harks back to its Roman foundation, while the Medieval Eixample tells the story of the walls' extension during the 14th and 15th centuries. As you wander the city's colorful streets, your guide will tell stories of the abundant monuments and remarkable artistic treasures.
One of the highlights of your tour will be the Jewish quarter of El Call, a suggestive neighborhood with beautiful streets and porticoed squares. As you stroll through this ancient quarter, you'll encounter Baroque spaces and Noucentist buildings masterfully designed by Rafael Masó, adding to the city's architectural allure.
For lunch, we've reserved a table for you at your host's 'masia,' a typical centennial country house. Your host will delight you with a delicious meal crafted with love, allowing you to enjoy the region's flavors and warm hospitality.

Costa Brava
This morning, set off on a journey to visit the medieval towns of the Baix Empordà region. You will have access to a private car and driver for eight hours, allowing you to learn about the history and see the landscapes of this stunning area.
Bordered by the Mediterranean Sea and the imposing massifs of les Gavarres and Montgrí, the Baix Empordà region is a quiet area comprised of exceptionally beautiful medieval towns.
The medieval period was significant in the northeast of Catalonia, with history forged by the great monasteries and the small independent earldoms, castles, Romanesque and Gothic churches. Monells, Peratallada, and Corçà are among the most captivating towns you won't want to miss. The best way to experience these villages is on foot. Each corner unveils a story from the past.
You're invited to try some authentic Mediterranean cuisine for lunch while dining on the sands of one of Costa Brava's most beautiful beaches. The area's specialty is oak-grilled fish, featuring only wild catches from the local fishing boats. You'll be treated to various options, from sea bream and sea bass to snappers, sardines, croaker, and scorpion fish. Don't miss the opportunity to try the authentic red lobster from Begur's Cape, fresh shrimp from Palamós, and grilled octopus served with Romesco sauce. And, of course, the rice dishes are a must-try, including paella, black rice, and lobster rice.

Today you will follow Barcelona's wine route, mingling with regulars at local taverns and bodegas, where your local food guide will unveil the city's best-kept gastronomic secrets. This evening, your driver will bring you to Hotel Alma, a singular early-twentieth-century building seamlessly renovated to blend classicism with a contemporary feel.
