Day 1
Panama City Arrival
Upon arrival, you'll meet our representative and transfer to your luxurious hotel. Then, in the afternoon, explore Casco Viejo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on a walking tour with a specialist guide. As you stroll through the streets, passing historical squares as you go, you'll visit ancient monasteries and soak in the old-world charm. Visiting the Panama Canal
This morning, start the day with a drive to Gamboa, where the Chagres River meets the Panama Canal. Cruise in a comfortable boat across Gatun Lake, passing colossal cargo ships while observing local wildlife like sloths, monkeys, and toucans. Afterwards, you can enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Next, head to the Miraflores Visitor Center to experience the Panama Canal! Prepare to be immersed in the story of the Panama Canal through a 45-minute IMAX 3D presentation narrated by the legendary Morgan Freeman. With your guide, you'll then have the chance to observe the Canal's operations. This special guided VIP tour offers exclusive access to the sidewall of the locks, which is closed to the general public. Get an up-close look at the locomotives that pull the ships through the Canal.

El Valle de Antón
Start your day with a visit to the Amador Causeway for views of Panama City's skyline. With your private guide, head inside the world's first Biodiversity Museum (Biomuseo). At this Smithsonian-affiliated interpretative museum, you'll learn about the significance of the biodiversity on the Isthmus of Panama and how this small piece of land changed the world.
Then, transfer to El Valle de Antón, a beautiful small town nestled in an extinct volcano crater. Get settled in your hotel, surrounded by mountains and cloud forest. Enjoy the swimming pool, spa, and landscaped gardens.

Day 4
Waterfall and Natural Pools
El Valle de Antón has a variety of waterfalls to explore. Today, you'll venture to one of the most beautiful places to take a dip and enjoy time immersed in nature. The waterfall creates a natural pool perfect for swimming. As you dive into the cool water, take a moment to look around at the surrounding flora and fauna.
Return to your hotel, and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Cerro Gaital
The Cerro Gaital Natural Monument was established as a protected area in 2001. The tributaries of the Antón River, which flows into the Pacific Ocean, and the Indio River, which flows into the Caribbean Sea, originate here. The latter is essential for the operation of the Panama Canal.
Today, with your private guide, you'll explore this important area as you hike trails that offer the opportunity to venture through the forest, appreciate the area's biodiversity, and enjoy a viewpoint with a view of El Valle de Antón.

Cambutal
Depart El Valle de Antón for Cambutal. During this scenic 4.5-hour drive, you'll stop for a Pollera weaving experience. The pollera is a traditional Panamanian dress renowned for its vibrant colors and intricate designs, symbolizing the country's cultural heritage. Often adorned with exquisite embroidery and lace, this garment is a testament to Panama's rich history and artistic craftsmanship. The art of pollera weaving is deeply rooted in local traditions, showcasing the skills that have been passed down through generations.
After the experience, continue on to your resort. Settle into your oceanfront suite, breathing in the salt air and listening to the soothing lapping of the waves.

Relaxation and Horseback Riding at Sunset
After breakfast, take the day to relax. Head to the beach right in front of your suite to soak in the sun and take a dip in the warm waters of the Pacific or lounge by the resort’s saltwater pool. It's entirely up to you!

Flora and Fauna of Cambutal

Day at Leisure
Today is completely unstructured - you can rest at the resort after a leisurely breakfast or set out for a day at the beach. Spend time together under the warm sun, enjoying the cooling ocean breeze.

Departure Day
After a final breakfast in Panama, you'll drive back to the airport for your flight to Panama City. From there, board your international flight home. You'll leave Panama with wonderful memories of the rainforest, beach, and mountains.
