Day 1
Arrival to the Kalahari Desert

Upon your arrival to Botswana, you'll be greeted by our representative, who will assist you with immigration. Transfer to Jack’s Camp, nestled in the otherworldly landscape of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park.

Step back in time as you settle into one of Africa’s most iconic camps. Enter your spacious tent and find yourself surrounded by rich textiles, Persian rugs, and hand-carved beds. Jack’s Camp offers exclusivity, style, and old-world glamour. Before the sun sets, cool off with a dip in your private plunge pool on the outer deck while enjoying dazzling views of the salt pans. Look closely and you’ll see the lunar landscape come alive!

Day 2 - 3
Makgadikgadi Pans National Park

Start your morning with a hearty breakfast while watching the desert awaken. Then, prepare to experience the iconic and intriguing landscape of the Makgadikgadi Pans with a variety of activities.

Spend your mornings on game drives to witness the second largest migration in Africa. Enjoy the spectacle of black and white stripes as approximately 30,000 zebras and wildebeest migrate across the Makgadikgadi Pans. You may even spot a brown
hyena or Kalahari lion.

Then, take an afternoon to meet the meerkats that call this landscape home. The habituated family will dig and play around you; your head could even become their perfect lookout point! You can also opt to discover the secrets of the pans with the Zu/’hoasi Bushmen on a bush walk, saddle up for a horse riding experience, or, in season, witness the spectacle of the flamingo migration.

Spend the evenings on night drives or stargazing under the wondrous desert skies. Listen to the nocturnal world as you fall asleep.

Day 4
Arrival at Khwai Private Reserve

After breakfast, transfer to the Khwai Private Reserve and head to your camp, Tuludi. Here, elegant treehouse suites await you amidst an environment of emerald forests, glistening waterways, and wildlife. Embrace luxury and the serenity of space in this exclusive oasis, with a pool, elegant design features, and sophisticated airy suites.

Settle in and enjoy lunch; then, take your first game drive across the floodplains and riverine forests in search of leopards, wild dogs, and large herds of elephants. Return for a sundowner on the deck, followed by dinner beneath the stars.

Day 5 - 6
The Okavango Delta

Enjoy two full days immersed in the secluded, northern reaches of the Delta, famed for its incredible diversity!

Rise early for game drives through the reserve’s varied habitats—your guide will help track predators, antelope, and the Delta’s celebrated birdlife. Return for a hearty brunch and some midday downtime by the pool or in your suite. In the afternoon (seasonal), float through the Delta in a mokoro, drifting past lilies, reeds, and perhaps even a hippo or two. You can also choose to participate in a guided nature walk, visit Khwai Village to learn about the local culture and traditions, or head out with KPR rangers to assist with important conservation work.

In the evening, be sure to embark on a night safari. As dusk falls, expect prides of lions on the hunt, leopards creeping through the forest, and cheetahs stalking their territories. Witness the Okavango from a unique perspective. Finish your days with dinner in the camp’s intimate dining area and a nightcap in the treehouse library or under the stars.

Day 7
Arrival at Tawana

After breakfast, embark on a helicopter ride and soar over the Okavango to Tawana, your luxury base in the southeastern corner of Botswana’s Moremi Game Reserve. Settle into your spacious suite, designed with natural textures, river views, and a private plunge pool shaded by ebony and sausage trees. With raised suites and walkways throughout camp, you can safely enjoy watching wildlife wandering from the river through your camp.

After a brief orientation, enjoy your first evening game drive in search of lions, leopards, and herds of grazing antelope. Return to camp for a chef-prepared dinner, followed by drinks around the fire pit.

Day 8 - 9
Moremi Game Reserve

Wake early for a guided game drive into Moremi’s varied landscapes—from shimmering lagoons to mopane woodlands. Track big game and marvel at the abundance of birdlife, with over 400 species recorded in the region. You’re likely to spot large herds of antelope, including the semi-aquatic red lechwe and shy sitatunga. The lagoons and pools of the Gomoti are frequented by large pods of hippos and enormous Nile crocodiles. The area boasts high concentrations of large herbivores and antelopes, attracting predators.

After a leisurely lunch and time to relax poolside or at the spa, depart for your afternoon drive as the bush comes alive with evening activity. Return for dinner and enjoy the camp’s wood-fired pizza oven and walk-in wine bar. At the outdoor lounge, gather around the firepit and spend your evenings stargazing and contemplating the vast wilderness that surrounds you.

Day 10
Departure Day

After breakfast, enjoy a quiet moment in the lodge’s curated library or watching animals pass from your private deck. Take in a morning of peaceful river views, then begin the journey home. You’ll take a scenic helicopter ride to Maun Airport, then continue to your onward international flight.
