Together Women Rise: Journey to Rwanda

REGISTRATION

To register, please complete a Registration Form by February 18, 2025. Please note that Together Women Rise members will have priority registering until December 9, 2024.

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot on the trip and your final balance will be due by February 18, 2025, as outlined below.

  • Total Trip Cost: $5,260
  • Supplement for a Single Room: $500
  • 30% Deposit Due at Registration: $1,578 (plus $150 for single supplement)
  • Final Payment Deadline: February 18, 2025

Note: Payment is required upon registering to hold your spot on the trip. All payments are non-refundable.

Gorilla Trek: If you indicate on your registration form that you would like to participate in the gorilla trek, we add the supplemental cost of $1,450 for the gorilla trek permit to your deposit invoice. Payment for this permit is required as soon as possible because the government offers a limited number of gorilla trek permits each day. When you register we will first check availability of permits to confirm we can secure this for you.

The main program begins on May 31 and ends on June 8 in Kigali. If you would like to arrive in Kigali early or stay after the main program, please reach out to Yumi (yumi@elevatedestinations.com) to arrange any additional nights of accommodation, which will be an additional expense.

Upload Your Passport: Upon registering, you will be asked to upload a scanned copy of your passport to this secure Dropbox folder. See more information on the Pre-Departure page.

Exclusions:

  • International round-trip flights to Rwanda
  • Visa (including the application fee)
  • Travel and medical insurance
  • Gorilla Trek & Tips ($1,450 + $50 tips)
  • Lunch on arrival day
  • Dinner on departure day
  • Gratuity for airport transfers ($5-10 per person for each transfer) and housekeeping staff
  • Personal expenses (laundry, phone calls, shopping, alcohol etc.
