The planning fee reflects the personalized attention and deep destination knowledge that goes into crafting a custom trip that’s uniquely yours. From the very first conversation, we invest significant time understanding your travel style, preferences, and goals, then leverage our professional experience, vetted network of partners, and insider insights to design an itinerary that exceeds expectations.
These aren’t templated trips, but rather full-service, thoughtful travel experiences built from the ground up. The planning fee ensures that our time and expertise are respected, and it allows us to work closely with you to refine every detail, so you can travel with complete confidence and ease.
Fee Structure
Our planning fee starts at $500 for one proposal and depends on the scope of the assignment. For complicated trips with over 4 guests, peak seasons, or last minute bookings, these fees may increase. If you would like multiple proposals for various countries, we can do so for $500 per country. If you book, we can apply the additional proposal fees towards the booked trip deposit.
It takes significant time and effort to check for all available accommodations, guides, and services. We have to be swift and persistent, and these trips are labor and time intensive.

Our services go far beyond simply designing a beautiful itinerary—we’re with you every step of the way, handling all the intricate details that make a trip seamless and unforgettable. From coordinating regional flights, transfers, accommodations, and meaningful experiences to managing special requests, reservations, and even assisting you with travel documentation, we take the complexity out of travel planning so you can focus on the excitement of the journey ahead. We’re also available for ongoing support and guidance in the lead-up to your trip, making adjustments as needed and ensuring every piece falls into place. This level of thoughtful, high-touch service takes time, care, and deep expertise. Oftentimes, we are also including the communication and coordination with our non-profit partners, which is time intensive. The planning fee allows us to dedicate the resources needed to deliver this elevated, worry-free experience—one that’s custom-crafted just for you and managed with the same attention we’d give to our own travels. Additionally, you always have in-country support during your travels.
