Day 1: Arrive in Kenya
Emakoko
Arrive to Nairobi where you will be met and transferred to Emakoko, located in Nairobi National Park. Begin your safari right away. This is the only national park in a major capital city in Africa! The Emakoko Lodge is a family-owned boutique luxury lodge, built into the side of the valley, which borders the Nairobi National Park — a 45 minute transfer from both airports in the city. The beautifully appointed rooms look out over the game park so one can fall asleep to the sounds of Africa—a lion roaring, or the cry of a lone hyena.

Day 2: Day at leisure
Emakoko
Have the day at leisure to enjoy Nairobi and activities of your choice.
With the help of your guide, visit the nearby Giraffe Center, an education-focused organization where you can get up close and personal with these amazing animals.
You can also visit the famed David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the world’s most successful orphan-elephant rescue and rehabilitation program to date. The Trust is also a pioneer in the field of conservation in East Africa. Visit it is a wonderful learning experience.

Day 3: Fly to and explore Laikipia
Loisaba Tented Camp
Today, travel via scheduled flight to Loisaba in Laikipia. The region’s vast, open plains, wealth of game, and lack of visitors makes it one of Kenya’s premiere safari destinations.
Perched on the edge of an escarpment, Loisaba Tented Camp offers panoramic views across Laikipia’s pristine landscape. Days 4 – 6: Game viewing and exploration of Laikipia

You have three full days to become attuned to the sights and sounds of the bush in Laikipia. Embark on morning and afternoon game drives in search of Kenya’s plentiful plains game and iconic megafauna.
Guests can also track and spot rare species like wild dogs while on safari in Laikipia, one of this area’s unique selling points.

Day 7: Fly to and explore Lewa Downs

This morning, fly on a privately chartered Cessna C182 aircraft to Lewa Downs. The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is touted as a leader in East African conservation.
Once you have settled into your accommodation for the evening, embark on your first game drive through the conservancy.
Tonight, stay at Sirikoi Lodge. Sirikoi is a family owned and operated lodge situated on the northern slopes of Mt. Kenya, in the heart of Lewa Downs. The lodge’s subtle yet welcoming ambiance provides the perfect getaway to unplug and reconnect with nature.
Days 8 – 10: Game viewing and exploration of Lewa Downs

For the next three days, let the stress melt away as you immerse in your peaceful new environment. Now, with a few days in the bush under your belt, you will begin to notice the subtleties of Kenya’s vast wilderness and the intricacies of this phenomenal ecosystem.
During your days at Sirikoi, you will venture into the bush on numerous expertly-guided game drives. The experienced guides at Sirikoi will reveal the secrets of the land and help you spot elusive creatures, like rhino, in this vast area. Leave Sirikoi feeling enthralled and knowledgeable about wildlife conservation.
Day 11: Fly to explore the Maasai Mara
Sala’s Camp
Today, take a scheduled flight to the Maasai Mara and transfer to your new lodge, Sala’s Camp. The Maasai Mara is a mecca for big game and is regarded as one of the world’s preeminent safari destinations!
After settling in to your new camp, head out for a game drive in the park to search for large game like big cats, elephant, giraffe, and rhino. This spectacular lodge is situated close to the confluence of the Sand and Keekerok Rivers, a hotspot for game viewing!
Upon your return, indulge in Sala’s Camp’s understated luxury. The camp itself boasts stunning rooms and first class cuisine.
Days 12 – 14: Game viewing and exploration of the Maasai Mara

During your stay in the Maasai Mara, embark on game drives in the mornings and evenings to learn about and admire the local flora and fauna. If you are lucky and the timing is right, you can even catch one of the most epic occurrences in nature, the Great Migration.

While you are in Maasai Mara, you can also choose to take a hot air balloon safari over the extensive plains. Getting a bird’s eye view of the massive Maasai Mara and watching plains game graze from above is an enchanting experience. The hot air balloon safari ends with a delicious champagne breakfast.
Day 15: Departure
Day room at Ole-Sereni Hotel
Now that your safari has come to an end, fly back to Nairobi, where a day room at Ole-Sereni hotel will be waiting for you.
Ole-Sereni is known as the “city hotel by a game park” for it’s unlikely proximity to both Nairobi and game viewing in the nearby national park. This sophisticated hotel offers all the amenities one would expect of a city hotel.
This evening, transfer to the airport for your departing flight home.
