Suggested Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Manaus
Hotel Go In
Depart for Manaus. Arrive into Manaus, where you’ll be picked up by a driver and transferred to Hotel Go In. Enjoy the afternoon and evening at leisure in this bustling Amazonian capital.
Day 2: Manaus – Tefé, Mamirauá Reserve
Uakari Lodge
Today you depart for Tefé with an estimated arrival time of 2:00pm. You will be greeted at the airport in Tefé and then transferred via motorboat to Mamirauá Reserve. During this exciting boat transfer, you’ll enjoy breathing the fresh Amazonian air while taking in the beautiful rainforest surroundings. Look for colorful birds, pink river dolphins and local boats as they float down the Rio Solimões.
Once at your Uakari Lodge, a nature guide will welcome you and provide a brief explanation of what the lodge provides. Following dinner, you can check out a BBC video produced that highlights the work implemented in the Mamirauá Reserve.
Day 3 and 4: Day Tour in Mamirauá Reserve

You’re in the jungle now! Today enjoy learning about the flooded forest ecosystem from guides, naturalists and researchers. Take some quite time to observe the uniqueness of this ecologically rich environment along with spotting excellent wildlife along the trail and the Mamirauá Lake and learning about the local people who live and subsist off the forest.
Day 5: Mamirauá – Tefé – Manaus

Today you embark on the next part of the journey. Depart Uakari and catch a flight to Manaus via Tefe. Arrive in Manaus and transfer will take us to the Hotel Go In where you will be greeted by familiar faces!
Day 6: Amazon Tree Climbing, Pink Dolphin Excursion and the Manioc Flour House

Depart Manaus via motor boat to arrive at the Acajatuba Lake to swim with pink dolphins!
After that you will climb up an ancient and giant Macucu tree, one of the highest species from flooded forest. After all this exciting exploration, you’ll need to replenish your energy with a hearty lunch at the manioc flour house. Afterward, head back to Manaus and stay in Hotel Go In.
Day 7: Manaus – Fortaleza

Today you’ll head out of Manaus Airport and onto Fortaleza (4.5 hours via Belém). In Fortaleza, you can rest up for the next leg of the adventure.
Day 8: Fortaleza – Jericoacoara

Now you’re ready for the beach! Getting places in Brazil is no small task, and Jarioacoara is no exception. Getting there is part of the adventure! Travel to Jericoacoara (approx. 4 hours.) Upon arrival, go check out the brilliant sunset from the impressive white sand dune located on the west side of the village. Aptly named the Sunset Dune. You can even catch a lively Capoeira (Brazilian martial art dance) presentation right after the sun goes down.
Day 10: Day Tour in Jericoacoara

Take today to live it up and relax and explore in Jericoacoara.
Day 11: Jericoacoara – Fortaleza – Manaus
Departure day. Transfer to Fortaleza Airport and fly to Manaus. Arrive in Manaus and fly on home!
