Private Adventures in Central America
Costa Rica is a nature lover’s paradise. The ecologically diverse country offers an abundance of opportunities for those that enjoy the outdoors. From birding to surfing, there is something for everyone and all families to enjoy in this gorgeous locale.
Belize has done a phenomenal job of managing the pandemic, and very few cases currently exist in the country. They are looking to open up their borders as soon as possible. To get started planning your next Belize adventure, we have some beautiful, remote locales to whet your travel appetite! Belize is the perfect place for a tropical rainforest experience blended with some time by the sea to explore the Mesoamerican Reef.

COSTA RICA
We have some great lodges and private villas lined up, with a focus on exclusivity and atmospheres where you can enjoy nature with social distancing protocols in place.
Private villas offer a personalized, private experience for anyone wishing to enjoy Costa Rica while avoiding exposure to people outside of your social bubble. These villas offer a luxurious experience with all the privacy and independence that might best fit your needs. Many villas are perched on hilltops at the end of private roads. They offer beautiful ocean views, private pools, private common areas, excellent internet connection, and exclusive, limited staff. You can choose to have the services of a private chef, or we can pre-stock your kitchen before you even arrive!

Río Perdido
Río Perdido, located in Guanacaste, offers a private experience in a lush forest with two rivers — one of which is a natural hot spring! Only one-and-a-half hours away from the ocean, the hotel has a unique advantage, offering miles of secluded forest trails, a very nice spa, and the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful canyoning adventure. The common areas are very open and airy, while each bedroom stands on its own, well separated from the next.

Amor Arenal
Amor Arenal has incredible views, located on a secluded hill overlooking a canyon. Open and airy common areas combined with individual-standing rooms make for a great getaway where distancing can be easily practiced. From this hotel, you can explore the Arenal Volcano, rejuvenate at the scenic spa, refresh in private plunge pools, and unwind on yoga and meditation platforms surrounded by forest.

Chayote Lodge
Chayote Lodge overlooks the Central Valley’s coffee fields and the valley of Naranjo. It’s a lovely boutique hotel with individual suites, private balconies, and 535 sq ft of space per room. Only a 50-minute drive away from Juan Santamaría International Airport, this is an excellent option for your first or last night, without having to stay inside the city.

Xandari
Xandari is another great option just outside San Jose. It has 2.5 miles of trails (including one to a private waterfall and forest pond where you can swim), beautiful views of the Central Valley, ample common areas, and 24 individually-standing rooms. Xandari offers both privacy and convenience, with the feeling of being secluded, all within 20 minutes of the Juan Santamaría International Airport.

BELIZE
Remote ecolodges can provide secluded nature escapes far from the crowds elsewhere. If you’d like to blend your remote jungle experience with gorgeous Caribbean waters, we have a couple of great options that will provide a fantastic private island getaway.

Remote Jungle Ecolodge
We have access to a little-known gem located deep in the rainforests of Northwestern Belize. It’s best accessed via helicopter, which requires a bit of planning to reach, but that’s the point! There are 12 private and spacious thatched-roof cabanas, and for families, there is one beautifully appointed two-bedroom villa replete with a hot tub, wrap-around deck, air-conditioning, and a golf cart for use. Open air dining and WiFi keep you nourished and connected.
Perfect for adventurous honeymooners, birders and wildlife-lovers, and intrepid families, the property is situated on the site of an ancient Mayan city with 130,000-acres of private reserve. Sightings of jaguars, pumas, ocelots, tapirs, fox, and agoutis are possible, and there are 350+ species known to the reserve — including plenty of colorful toucans, parrots, and hummingbirds. Fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, guided hikes, and night walks to see the nocturnal animals will also keep your family busy!

Cayo Espanto – Private Island Resort
The resort has six luxurious, secluded one- and two-bedroom beach villas, each with a small splash pool at the water’s edge. There are no shared areas such as a bar or restaurant – everything happens either in your villa or in locations around the island. Due to the privacy and exclusivity offered at Espanto, it has long been a favorite of A-listers and celebrities seeking luxurious seclusion. Overlooking the sea with stunning Caribbean vistas, the villas exude charm with exquisite decor, broad verandas, and private docks.

Ray Caye Island Resort
This resort is located on the private island of Ray Caye (formerly Hatchet Caye). Recently renovated, the accommodations are on the edge of Gladden Spit and Silk Caye Marine Reserves. Enjoy world-class snorkeling from the dock, fly fishing from the shore, or head out for a scuba and deep-sea adventure. With five main rooms and eight oceanfront cabanas, the resort provides ample space, a BBQ grill, dive shop, pool, wellness center, and a full array of water sports equipment.
