Foodies beware – you won’t want to come home after this trip! It’s no secret that Asian food is to die for… but Vietnam’s dynamic and delightful cuisine is definitely one of our favorites. Forget the ultra-fancy restaurants and stuffy table etiquette, the food culture here is laid-back, and everything on the menu will make your mouth water.

This itinerary traces Vietnam from north to south, distilling the culinary and cultural differences between each of the country’s distinct areas. Start in Hanoi, where quirky favorites like egg coffee just can’t be beat. Then, head to Vietnam’s gourmet capital, Hoi An for a taste of the stables: bánh mì and cao lầu. You’ll pack your bags in Ho Chi Minh, but not before discovering a taste of the south including some special desserts and a tea tasting with a view!
