Experience the natural wonders of the Baja California peninsula, from the gray whales and endangered sea turtles of Magdalena Bay to the beauty of Espíritu Santo Island.

Visit the sea turtle research camp to learn about their conservation and help to collect data in the field. Work alongside local fishermen and conservationists in a hands-on effort to help restore endangered populations and support the livelihood of local communities. The second wildlife highlight is watching for majestic gray whales in the Gulf of California, “the world’s aquarium.”

Best times to go for whales: January – March. For sea turtle monitoring: year-round.
