Day 1
ARRIVE IN CASABLANCA

Upon arrival in Casablanca, meet your English-speaking guide and transfer to your hotel for the evening in Fez (approximately four-hour drive).

The Palais Faraj sits atop a hill overlooking the historic Ole Medina of Fez. Guests can indulge in the spa, swimming pool, and panoramic lounge while taking in the opulent, old-world atmosphere.

Day 2
EXPLORING FEZ

Welcome to Morocco’s cultural capital. Winding, aromatic streets bustle with the activity of proud inhabitants who staunchly refuse to be modern. Donkey-carts abound and the splendors of an age-old world vibrantly come to life here. In a city that can be equal parts beautiful and overwhelming, your guide will help you discover the unknown gems.

After enjoying a full day exploring this decidedly unique city, take time this evening to relax and luxuriate at Palais Faraj.

Day 3
FEZ TO MERZOUGA

After breakfast, transfer to Erfoud, the “city of fossils” in the south of Morocco. Continue by 4×4 vehicle to the giant dunes of Merzouga, where you will be greeted with welcome drinks and settled into your Desert Luxury Camp.

This elegantly appointed tented camp offers the utmost in both comfort and solitude. Hidden deep in the idyllic dunes of Erg Chebbi, the camp offers the perfect launch-point for discovering the enchantments of the Sahara.

Take a short camel ride to witness the sun drop below the horizon line, beneath the dunes as the sky ignites with vibrant hues of red and orange.

Day 4
MERZOUGA TO SKOURA

After a traditional Moroccan breakfast, set off in a private transfer to Skoura along the broad of 1000 Kasbahs, an ancient caravan trail used by traders to the Sahara, visiting the gorges of Todra and the stunning Valley of Roses en route (5-hour drive).

Check-in at Ksar El Kabbaba in Skoura. Crafted from ancient stone and set in the shadow of a 300-year old olive tree, this romantic hotel is the perfect Moroccan oasis. Stroll around the palm-lined gardens or lounge in one of the many hammocks to relax and unwind.

Day 5
BIKING ACTIVITY

After a leisurely breakfast, set off on a 2-hour biking excursion to explore your new environment.

Bike is a great way to cover ground, while still remaining open to the elements and being able to discover the small details in this unique wilderness. You will ride through farm land, palm groves, and by traditional Moroccan kasbahs.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy. Explore the gardens at Ksar El Kabbaba, relax in the hammocks, and enjoy a fine Moroccan dinner to round out the day.

Day 6
SKOURA – MARRAKECH

This morning, transfer to Marrakech via Tizi’n Tichka – a steep mountain pass at 2164-meters.

Visiting monuments in the Ait Ben Haddou village along the route (5-hour drive).

Check-in at La Sultana in Marrakech. Like something out of a fairy-tale, no detail is too small at La Sultana. The sumptuous décor is only bolstered by impeccable service and a setting that is truly to die for.

Day 7
MARRAKECH

You will be met by your guide in the lobby after breakfast to begin a guided tour of Marrakech. This medieval city is crisscrossed with a complex network of alleyways, each of which play host to bustling souks, or marketplaces selling traditional wares such as textiles, pottery, or jewelry. The city skyline is anchored by the omnipresence of the Koutoubia Mosque, a 77-meter tall symbol of the city.

In good hands, you’ll discover hidden gems in this wondrous city including the Saadians Tombs, Koutoubia Minaret, El Bahia Palace, the Koranic School Medersa Ben Youssef, the Jemaa el Fna Square, and more.

Day 8
MARRAKECH

Located about 35-minutes outside of Marrakech is a small eco-farm that specializes in delivering a full-sensory culinary experience that brings Moroccan culture to life. This morning, participate in a cooking class with well-regarded chef Tarik to learn about healthy and authentic local food and cooking culture in Morocco.

In the afternoon, head to the Majorelle and Menara Gardens with your guide to wander around the exotic plant life and scenic fountains before returning to La Sultana for the evening.

Departure

Once you have had a chance to enjoy breakfast and pack your belongings, your guide will escort you by private transfer to the airport in Marrakech where you will board your international departure flight home.
